Move Files From a Nokia N97 Phone Memory


The Nokia N97 is a touch-screen Symbian smart phone manufactured by Nokia. It comes with a fold-out QWERTY keyboard. You can take high quality pictures, browse the internet and download documents and programs with this phone. These photos and other files store in your phone's internal memory. If you want to move your files quickly to your computer, you can use Nokia's free software program which will let you easily transfer applications, music and photos to your computer.


Instructions


1. Visit the Nokia PC Suite download page. Enter "N97" in the "Quick search" box. Select the language you want to use under the "Select Language" drop down menu. Click "Download" to download Nokia PC Suite for your N97.


2. Install PC Suite on your computer by double-clicking on the PC Suite installer file and following the installation directions.


3. Connect your Nokia N97 to your PC via PC suite. Double-click on the PC Suite icon on your desktop to launch the program. Nokia PC Suite will start installing drivers. You will be asked to use the USB cable that came with your N97 or a Bluetooth connection to connect to your N97. (Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer). Choose USB or Bluetooth. A picture of your phone will appear once you have connected successfully. Nokia PC Suite will ask you to restart your computer now. Remove the USB or disconnect from Bluetooth and click "OK" to restart.


4. Double-click on the Nokia PC Suite icon and connect your phone via USB or Bluetooth.


5. Double click on "File Manager" in the PC Suite menu. You will see "Memory Card" and "Phone memory (NOKIA)." Double click on "Phone memory" to access the files in your phone's memory. Locate your file in one of the folders. Simply drag and move that file to your phone's memory card or your desktop.
