Boost Mobile the subsidiary company of Sprint/Nextel is a prepaid wireless company that sells a variety of Integrated Digital Enhance Network (iDen) phones. iDen capable phones come equipped with a built in walkie-talkie feature called Push-to-Talk (PTT). PTT allows you to communicate with another PTT capable phone with the push of a button. Every Boost Mobile PTT capable phone comes with two phone numbers: A walkie-talkie number and mobile phone number. If you want to connect with someone using the walkie-talkie feature on your phone, you must provide him or her with the appropriate number. You can find your walkie-talkie number by accessing your phone menu.
Instructions
1. Turn on your Boost Mobile phone and press the "Menu" button.
2. Highlight the "My Info" option and press the "OK" or "Enter" key.
3. Scroll down the menu until you reach the "Walkie-talkie number" section. Your walkie-talkie number will be present in this section. Write down the number to keep for your reference and to provide to other PTT users.
