Buy The Nokia 8801

If you have a taste for the elegant, you might consider buying the Nokia 8801.

The Nokia 8801 is a minimalistic approach to cell phone design. It's a slider phone whose exterior casing is made from stainless steel. It also has myriad features, including a 0.5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, voice dialing, a music player and an FM radio. Although you can buy other cell phones with similar features for a much lower price, reviewers who have purchased the phone argue that it's classy, elegant and unique.

Instructions

1. Research the phone before you buy it. Although the phone looks impressive, its features aren't outstanding. There are phones you can buy today that cost less and do much more. For instance, the iPhone is cheaper to purchase secondhand than the Nokia 8801. Still, the Nokia 8801 is unique, and if you still feel the urge to buy it, you can begin shopping.

2. Visit a T-Mobile store near you. Speak with a customer representative about purchasing the Nokia 8801. Although the store may not have the phone in stock the moment you walk in, it might be able to order it for you. Plus, if you're willing to sign a contract to make T-Mobile your exclusive service provider, you may get the phone at a discounted price.

3. Check online at discount sites like overstock.com and ebay.com. If you're planning on buying it secondhand, make sure the phone is unlocked. This means that you can use it with any service provider you want. If the phone is still locked when you purchase it, you'll have to use the locked-in service provider or unlock the phone yourself.

4. Make sure, if you're purchasing the phone online, that the site is reputable and offers a popular checkout method (like Google checkout or PayPal). You can still use your credit card if you prefer, but sites that offer these methods of payment tend to be more legitimate than sites that don't.
