Put Photos On The Nokia 6288

The Nokia 6288 cellphone features a 2.0-megapixel camera for snapping photos on the go. You might also have photos on your computer that you would like to put on your phone. This can be done by connecting the phone to your computer and enabling USB Mass Storage Mode on the phone. This makes a miniSD memory card inserted in the phone appear as a removable storage drive on your computer. Move photos to and from your cellphone and computer with a simple drag-and-drop procedure.

Instructions

1. Insert a miniSD memory card into the memory slot on the bottom left side of your Nokia 6288 cellphone. The gold contacts on the memory card should face up toward the phone's screen.

2. Connect the Nokia 6288 to your computer using the USB data cable supplied with the phone.

3. Click "OK" when the "USB data cable connected" message appears on the phone's screen. Click "Data Storage" to enable USB Mass Storage Mode.

4. Open the folder on your computer that contains the photos you want to put on your Nokia 6288.

5. Hold down the "Ctrl" key on your computer's keyboard and click each photo that you want to copy to your phone. Release the "Ctrl" key and right-click one of the selected photos.

6. Highlight "Send to" and then click on the Nokia 6288 to copy the photos to your phone. The Nokia 6288 will appear in the list of devices as a removable disk.
