Format Music Into A Ringtone

Many converters can turn your songs into ringtones.


Nearly any unprotected music file can be converted into a ringtone. The most common audio files come in the MP3 or WMA containers, and the ringtone formats most often used come in the WAV and MMF extensions, although many other formats can be converted to and from. Many free online converters can turn your audio files into a ringtone format.

1. Access media-convert.com in any Web browser, such as Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Select "Choose File" and locate the song you want to convert into a ringtone. Media-convert restrains user file upload size to 200MB, but your ringtone probably won't be that big.


2. Pick out your song format in the menu. Select your target ringtone format.


3. Click the "OK" button to create the ringtone file. Next, click the download link to begin your file download.

4. Load mediaconverter.org in any browser.


5. Click the "Upload a file" button and find the song. Afterward, choose your ringtone output container. Mediaconverter limits upload size to 100MB.


6. Click "Start" to create your new ringtone. After the conversion squares away, click the download link to receive the file.


Zamzar.com


7. Load Zamzar.com in any Web browser.


8. Click "Choose File" and select the song you want to convert. Pick out your target format. Free users of Zamzar can upload files 100MB or smaller.


9. Give Zamzar your email and pick "Convert." You'll soon receive a message with your ringtone contained inside a download link.
