A weak signal coming through on your LG Shine mobile phone can cause you to barely hear your conversations. Suddenly dropped calls may also occur. Stronger signal strength can be achieved. It depends on how the phone is handled, where you are during the call, and the capability of the antenna being used.
Instructions
1. Hold your phone so that the antenna, ear piece and microphone are not covered when you use it. Avoid covering any of those parts with your thumb, fingers or other part of your hand. Verify that the you are in a comfortable speaking position, and the antenna is pointed up and angled in a slant direction pointing over your shoulder.
2. Move closer to a window when you use your phone inside of a building. Observe the signal strength indicator on your phone's display and watch it increase as you move to a better receptive area.
3. Use only LG approved accessories, including antennas to replace damaged parts. Third-party products may lower signal strength and call quality. LG branded holsters and belt-clips maintain the FCC RF exposure requirements that give a minimum separation distance of 0.6 inches between the back of the phone and your body. If you have a vehicle mounted external antenna installed, maintain the FCC RF exposure minimum distance of 8 inches when you operate your phone.
