The Samsung Freeform, which has model numbers ranging from R350 to R355, is an entry-level messaging device that features a full QWERTY keyboard, 2.2-inch display and Bluetooth technology. The device's Bluetooth capabilities allow it to connect to any Bluetooth headset, like the Motorola H375, and transfer audio back and forth. For the Freeform and the H375 to have a connection, you must complete the pairing process, where the two devices discover each other and create a secure connection.
Instructions
1. Plug the H375's charger into the port on the back of the headset, and then plug it into an outlet. The Motorola H375's indicator light will turn red, indicating that it is charging. Let the headset charge for at least 20 minutes, or until the indicator turns blue, indicating that the battery is full, before you disconnect it.
2. Turn off any other devices that the H375 headset has ever been paired with. The headset will automatically go into pairing mode as long as it does not recognize any currently paired devices in the area. Press the power button, which is the tiny button directly beneath the large, circular call button, to turn the headset on. When the indicator light turns a steady blue, the device is in pairing mode.
3. Press the navigation button to access the Freeform's menu system. Scroll to "Tools" and select it, then scroll to "Bluetooth" and select it.
4. Scroll to "Bluetooth Settings" and select it, and then select "Enable" from the following menu. Press the "Back" button, located to the right of the directional pad, to get back out to the "Bluetooth" menu.
5. Select "Registered List" from the menu. Then select "Add New Device" from the following menu. After a few seconds, the Freeform will display a list of Bluetooth devices. Scroll down to the "Motorola H375" and select it.
6. Enter in "0000" as the passkey for the H375. Press in on the navigational pad once you have finished typing. Choose "Yes" from the menu that pops up, confirming that you want to create a connection.
