Unlock A Nokia 6100

There is a small fee associated with unlocking your phone.

To unlock the Nokia 6100, you'll need to purchase an unlock code either through Unlocking.com or Unlock.nokiafree.org. When you unlock the phone, you can use the same phone when you switch mobile phone carriers. Unlocking your phone gives you the flexibility of using your cell phone with any wireless provider you want, without being locked into a particular service plan or rate plan.

Instructions

1. Turn the cell phone off and remove the Nokia 6100 battery and locate the phone's IMEI number. This is a 15-digit number that is unique to your phone. It's located on the sticker underneath the phone's battery. Write this number down.

2. Go to Unlocking.com or Unlock.nokia.free.org's website and enter information about your phone. You'll need to provide your phone number, phone make, model number, IMEI number, wireless carrier along with your first and last name. Click "Continue" when complete.

3. Turn the phone on and remove the SIM card from the side of the phone.

4. Enter the unlock code. Once you enter the code correctly, the phone display will say "SIM Restriction Off." This indicates your phone has been unlocked.
