Motorola offers an impressive selection of Bluetooth headsets for use with cell phones. Bluetooth headset users enjoy the convenience and ease of hands-free talk time while performing other tasks. If you have difficulty with your headset, clear the Motorola Bluetooth to remove any former pairing processes you performed. After you clear the headset, you can then pair it again to try to resolve the technical difficulties.
Instructions
1. Open the boom of the headset. The boom is the hinged portion of the headset with a microphone that extends along your jaw toward your mouth.
2. Press down the volume and the call buttons simultaneously for at least ten seconds.
3. Watch the indicator light as you press and hold the buttons. It should flash three times and then stay lit steadily. This indicates the headset has cleared and is ready to pair again.
4. Pair the headset with your cell phone by searching for the headset with your cell phone. Your cell phone should find the headset when it searches. You must then select the headset and enter "0000" as a passkey when your phone prompts you for it. The headset will flash blue and purple when the pairing is successful.
