Pair a Plantronics ATT V521
The Plantronics ATT V521 headset allows you to operate your mobile phone while remaining hands-free. If you've yet to use your headset, you must set it up for use. In addition to charging the internal battery, you'll also need to pair the headset with your phone. The one-time process of pairing creates a secure connection and allows your phone and headset to communicate with each other.
Instructions
1. Charge your Plantronics headset for at least one hour by plugging it in to the AC charger or placing it in the desktop cradle.
2. Ensure your phone is powered on. Select the "Tools" or "Settings" option and choose "Bluetooth." Select "On" to turn on Bluetooth.
3. Press and hold the silver call control button (located on the front of the headset) for a few seconds. Release the button when the indicator lights flash red and blue, indicating that the headset is now in pairing mode.
4. Choose "Add New Device" or "Search" from your phone's Bluetooth menu, typically found listed under "Settings" or "Tools". Allow your phone to search for in range devices. This may take several moments. A list of available devices will be displayed on the screen.
5. Scroll to and select "Plantronics 521" from the list. Enter "0000" when you are prompted for a passkey. Press "OK" to complete pairing.
