Changing the ringtone on a Nokia cell phone is quick and easy. You can choose from a variety of ringtones that come with your phone, or you can download a ringtone from your phone company's website. Many people enjoy personalizing their ringtones to fit their mood.
Instructions
1. Start by clicking on the main menu. The button that accesses it is larger than the rest, and is usually found just below the display screen. From the main menu, you will be able to access other menus you need to change your ringtone.
2. Find the Settings icon located in the main menu. It is represented by a pair of gears inside a file folder. In this menu, you will find settings options for a variety of functions on your cell phone. Choose the setting option that reads "Tones." A large musical note is the icon to look for.
3. Scroll down to the word "Tone." Click it to open another menu. Select "Open Tones and Graphics." This will take you to another menu. Select the first file that reads "Tones." This will open another menu. Select "Tones" to listen to the tones that come with your Nokia cell phone.
4. Listen to each tone that is available. To choose a tone you like, click on it. You will be asked to save any changes you have made. Click "Save" to change the ringtone on your cell phone.
5. You can make changes to your ringtone, message tone and other tones at any time by simply following the menus and prompts provided on your cell phone.
