Nero 9 is a CD- and DVD-burning software application.
Nero is a CD- and DVD-burning software application for the computer. When a blank CD is put into the computer, Nero is used to select songs and place them in a preferred order, and then burn the information onto the CD. When a DVD is put in, the software can burn information to the DVD as well. Nero 9 is a newer version of the Nero software. Sometimes, the Nero 9 software has problems.
Installation Problems
Users sometimes have problems during the installation process for Nero 9. The most common reason for the problems is the presence of previous Nero systems that conflict with the new information. If this happens, completely remove the older Nero application in order to install the Nero 9 software. In this situation, try uninstalling using the program options or the computer's add/remove programs option, and then use the Nero General Clean Tool available on Nero's website to remove any remaining information.
Burning Problems
While CD and DVD burning is the primary function of Nero 9, sometimes burning does not work properly. There are a few potential reasons for the problem: corrupted media files, a virus that infected Nero, a problem with the CD or DVD drive, a problem with the blank CD or DVD media, or incorrect use of Nero 9. In the case of corrupted files, the only option is to obtain an uncorrupted copy. You'll need antivirus software to remove many viruses; some can be removed from the computer manually. In the case of a blank CD or DVD that is damaged, putting in a new CD or DVD will fix the problem. If you are unsure use Nero 9, read the instruction manual thoroughly.
