Use A Logitech Clearchat Wireless Headset

Use a Logitech ClearChat Wireless Headset

The Logitech ClearChat wireless headset allows users to listen to audio files on the computer and communicate with other users over the Internet. The wireless headset is a good option for users who want to multitask while communicating without the restriction of a wire connected to the computer. With the ClearChat wireless headset, you can move up to 33 feet away from the computer and stay connected.

Instructions

1. Charge the headset by connecting the AC adapter to the charging jack on the headset and plugging the other end into an electrical outlet. The indicator light will turn on while the headset is charging and go out when the battery is fully charged.

2. Insert the wireless adapter into the wireless adapter stand and plug the USB cord of the stand into a USB port on your computer. You also can bypass the wireless adapter stand and plug the wireless adapter directly into a USB port on the computer. The wire on the stand provides additional range for the headset. The indicator light will blink green.

3. Press the "Power" switch to "On" to turn on the headset. The lights on the adapter and headset will blink green until a connection is made, after which the lights will remain solid green. The headset is now ready for listening to audio files or communicating over the Internet.

4. Increase the volume in the headset by pressing the "+" button on the right earpiece, and decrease the volume by pressing the "-" button.

5. Mute the microphone by pressing the "Logitech" button on the right earpiece or by lifting the microphone to the fully upright position. A red indicator light will appear on the microphone when you mute with the button. Press the button a second time or lower the microphone to turn off the mute.
