Use A Simlocked At&T Phone

A SIM lock is a security feature of AT&T Wireless's subscriber identity modules (SIM) cards. This feature requires you to enter a PIN unlock (PUK) code when you put an AT&T SIM card into a new phone. Therefore, to use a SIM-locked AT&T phone, you will need to obtain the PUK code from AT&T and enter it into your SIM-locked phone.

Instructions

1. Go to the myWireless account login page.

2. Enter your 10-digit AT&T wireless phone number and password and click on the "Login" button.

3. Click on the "My Services" option under the "My Account" subsection.

4. Select the "My Phone / Device" option.

5. Click on "Unblock SIM card." The website will display your PUK code.

6. Turn on your SIM-locked AT&T phone. The phone will prompt you to enter the PUK code.

7. Enter the PUK code, using the keypad, on your cellular phone. After successfully entering the PUK code, you will see a confirmation message displayed on your phone. You can now use your phone to make and receive calls on the AT&T Wireless network.
