The LG Dare battery cover sits on the back side of the phone and both keep the Dare's battery from falling out, as well as keep dust and debris from getting into the openings in the back of the phone. The battery cover uses small plastic tabs to secure it to the device, so if you need to replace the cover back on the Dare, you just need to ensure that the tabs are in the right place and slide the cover into place.
Instructions
1. Place the LG Dare face down on the table in front of you, with the top of the phone pointing away from you. Rotate the battery cover in your hand until the camera opening on the cover is also pointing away from you.
2. Position the battery cover over the device, about a half-inch above where it will eventually lock into the device. The tabs on the side of the cover should fit into small openings on the back of the Dare.
3. Slide the cover toward the bottom of the phone until it locks into place.
