Stop Hang Up Calls With Qwest Phone Service

Hang-up calls can be annoying -- especially when they occur frequently. Qwest customers can stop unwanted hang-up calls using call rejection or anonymous call rejection. Call rejection allows you to block up to 15 phone numbers. Anonymous call rejection allows you to block numbers that have been blocked from displaying on your caller ID.

Instructions

Call Rejection

1. Lift your phone's receiver or turn your phone's power on.

2. Dial "*60" from your home phone.

3. Enter the number you would like to block when prompted. You can enter up to 15 numbers. If you do not know the number of the hang-up caller, you can block the number by dialing "*60" from your phone after disconnecting the hang-up call.

4. Disconnect your call when you have completed your list.

Anonymous Call Rejection

5. Lift your phone's receiver or turn your phone's power on.

6. Dial "77" from your phone.

7. Listen for the broken dial tone. This is your notification that the service is activated. You can now disconnect the call.
