Configure Tmobile Mms

Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is the standard protocol used by cellular service providers to send messages that contain multimedia components. MMS is used to send pictures, audio, video and other types of multimedia content between cellular phones. T-Mobile is a cellular service provider that offers MMS messaging to its customers. If you purchased your phone from T-Mobile, the phone is preset with the settings necessary to send MMS messages. If, however, you are a T-Mobile customer using a non T-Mobile branded phone, you will need to manually change the settings on your phone so that you can send MMS messages using the T-Mobile network.


Instructions


1. Power on your phone and access the network settings. If you don't know access the network settings on your phone, consult your owner's manual for instructions.


2. Enable cellular data and MMS messaging on your phone.


3. Access the cellular data network settings menu on your phone.


4. Enter "wap.voicestream.com" without the quotation marks under the "APN" option.


5. Enter "216.155.165.050" without the quotation marks under the "WAP GW IP Address" setting.


6. Enter "http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc" without the quotation marks under the "Messaging Server" setting.
