Bluetooth Instructions For Jabra

Jabra makes a variety of popular Bluetooth headset devices. The headsets, when used in conjunction with your mobile phone, create a wireless connection that allows you to talk with your hands free. Your phone and Jabra headset must be paired and within range of each other to connect. Pairing usually only needs to be completed once, and requires your headset's internal battery to be fully charged. Plug your Jabra headset into an electrical outlet for about two hours, and disconnect it when the LED light turns off to indicate charging is complete. Leave your headset powered off.

Instructions

1. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth feature by selecting "Settings/Tools" and choosing "Bluetooth." Select "Power" and "On." Place your phone and headset within a few feet of each other, making sure there are no obstructions between them.

2. Press and hold the headset's "Answer/End" button for a few seconds. Release the button when your headset's indicator light remains solidly lit--the headset is now in pairing mode.

3. Open your phone's menu and choose "Settings/Tools." Open the "Bluetooth" option, then choose "Add New Device" or "Search for Devices." Wait for your phone to locate the headset.

4. Select your Jabra headset from the list of discovered devices and press "Add" or "Connect." Enter "0000" when prompted for a pass code. Your phone will display a "Pairing Successful" message and automatically connect to the headset.

5. Place your headset on your ear in a comfortable position, keeping the microphone pointed towards your mouth. If your Jabra has an ear hook, swivel it to fit either ear.

6. Tap the "Answer/End" button once to answer an incoming call. Tap the volume buttons to adjust call volume---("+" button to increase, "-" button to decrease.)

7. Tap the "Answer/End" button once to disconnect your call. Press the "On/Off" button or switch to power your headset on or off.
