Jabra Bt150 Bluetooth Instructions

The Jabra BT150 is a relatively easy-to-use Bluetooth headset, compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled phones. It will route your calls through the earpiece for a hands-free conversation. To use a Jabra BT150 with your phone, the devices must be paired and within range. Bluetooth technology has a maximum range of about 33 feet, but sound quality decreases as the distance between the devices increases.

Instructions

1. Insert the AC adapter's charging tip into the charging port on the top of the headset. Plug the adapter into an electrical outlet and allow your headset to charge completely, which typically takes two hours. The indicator light will be solid blue during charging, and turns off to show charging has completed.

2. Disconnect your headset from the charger and press the center "Answer/End" button to power it on. Release the button when the blue indicator light flashes.

3. Power on the phone you intend to use with your headset. Open the main menu and choose "Settings" or "Tools," then select "Bluetooth." Choose "Power" to turn Bluetooth on. Place the phone within a few feet of your headset.

4. Simultaneously press and hold the "Answer/End" button and the "Volume Up" button -- located on the side of your headset and marked with a "+" symbol. Release the two buttons when the indicator light stays steadily lit in blue. The headset is now in pairing mode.

5. Select 'Bluetooth" from your phone's "Settings" menu and choose "Add New Device" or "Search." Wait for your phone to locate the headset.

6. Highlight "Jabra BT150" from the list that is displayed. Choose "Add" or "Pair." Enter "0000" when asked to confirm the pass key. Your phone will display a "Pairing Complete" message and connect to your Jabra automatically.

7. Position the headset on your ear, placing the ear hook over and behind your right ear and pointing the microphone toward your mouth. If you wish to wear the headset on your left ear, flip the ear hook over then rotate it to the left side.

8. Tap the "Answer/End" button once to answer an incoming call. During the call, press the volume buttons -- located on the side of the headset -- to adjust the call volume. The volume "up" button is marked with a "+" sign, and the volume "down" button has a "-" sign.

9. Disconnect the call by tapping the "Answer/End" button once. Recharge your headset when you see a flashing red light -- this indicates low battery. Your headset gets a maximum of six hours of use per battery charge.
