Use My Nokia N80 For Gps Navigation

While GPS functionality is not standard on the Nokia N80, it is an option for users. With the LD-1W Wireless GPS module, users can connect the module to the N80 via Bluetooth and enjoy the features of any application offering mobile navigation software. The only setup required is to pair the two devices for connectivity and to download and install the desired application to the phone.


Instructions


1. Press the "Networking" icon on the Nokia N80 and select "Connect" from the menu.


2. Select "Bluetooth" from the connections menu.


3. Locate "My Phone's Visibility" from the Bluetooth menu and check "Shown to All."


4. Press the Bluetooth button on the Nokia LD-1W GPS module to turn on the Bluetooth.


5. Select "Options" from the Bluetooth menu on the Nokia N80 and select "Pair New Device." A list of available devices appears on the menu.


6. Select "Nokia LD-1W" from the list of available devices. Enter "0000" for the passcode when prompted.


7. Open the desired application for GPS functions.
