Change The Speed Dial On A Razr

The RAZR V3 cell phone was introduced by Motorola in 2004. In addition to its slender size and user-friendly features, the device has the capacity to store 1,000 phone numbers. You can assign a speed dial number to any of these contacts for quick dialling. The only number you cannot assign is number 1, as your voicemail uses this slot. Just make sure the contact you want to assign is stored on your handset. If it is stored on the SIM card, you will not be able to assign a speed dial number to it.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" button on your keypad. This is the middle button on the top row, directly below the screen. Navigate to "Phonebook" and press the center button to select it.

2. Scroll to the contact you want to assign and press the "Menu" button once again. Select "Edit" from the menu that appears.

3. Scroll down to the option called "Speed No." and enter the number you want to use. This can be any number from 2 to 999. When you enter the number the contact will be added to your speed dial.
