Make Your Motorola Bluetooth Discoverable

Your Motorola Bluetooth headset can be paired with a mobile phone once you make it discoverable.

Motorola Bluetooth headsets can be connected to a variety of different devices including mobile phones, MP3 players and computer systems. Once paired to a device, the headset can be used with that device without wires. Before you can pair your Motorola Bluetooth headset with any device, however, you need to make it discoverable--to allow other devices to find it. Making your Motorola headset discoverable takes a few seconds to complete.

Instructions

1. Slide the power switch on your Motorola headset to the on position, holding it there. If your headset has a button on-switch, hold the power button down.

2. Wait until the light on the back of your headset lights up solid blue, and then release the power button or switch. The solid blue light means that the headset is now discoverable. If the light on the back of your headset is blinking, then it is in standby mode, and you did not hold the power button or switch down long enough.

3. Go through the pairing process, connecting your headset with your mobile phone, MP3 player, computer or other device.

4. Press and hold down the power button or switch on your headset until the light turns off. This will take your headset out of discoverable mode.

5. Turn your headset back on by quickly pressing the power button or sliding the power switch to the on position. The light on the back of the headset will blink blue, indicating that the headset is in standby mode and is ready to be used.
