Pair A Bluetooth With A Samsung

Using a Bluetooth with a Samsung phone is useful when performing other tasks.

Most Samsung mobile phones feature Bluetooth capabilities. If you own a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth headset, you may be able to pair it with your Samsung phone. Pairing the two devices establishes a connection that you can use to communicate with your contacts. Voice data is quickly transferred between the headset and your Samsung phone, which enables you to communicate hands-free. Depending on the model of your Samsung phone, the steps may vary slightly.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" key on the Samsung mobile phone; then press "Bluetooth." Depending on the model of your phone, you may need to access the "Settings" or "Tools" menu to access the settings for Bluetooth.

2. Click "Trusted Devices;" then click "Add New." Click "Yes" when prompted to turn on the Bluetooth on your mobile phone.

3. Click "Search" and wait for a list of found Bluetooth-enabled devices to be found.

4. Press and hold the Bluetooth headset's "Power" button to place it in pairing mode. Depending on the headset model, you may need to press the "Volume" button.

5. Click the Bluetooth's name in the list of found devices on your Samsung mobile phone.

6. Enter the passkey using the mobile phone's keypad when prompted. By default, the passkey may be "0000" or "1234." A confirmation message is displayed when the pairing completes.
