The Nokia 6288 phone comes with a set of default themes but has the capacity to support custom themes. You can download themes of different colors, backgrounds and icons and set them on your cell phone's graphical interface. A number of free sites offer downloadable themes, some of which include Gallery Mobile9, Mobile88 and Zedge.
Instructions
1. Go to a website that offers downloadable themes, such as Gallery Mobile9, Zedge or Mobile88 (see Resources).
2. Scroll down the page, and select the theme you want to download.
3. Click the respective theme's icon, and wait a few seconds for the page to load.
4. Click the "Download" button on the page if you like the theme. Save it on the computer desktop.
5. Connect your Nokia 6288 to the PC using a USB data cable.
6. Choose "Menu," and select "Settings."
7. Click "Connectivity," choose "USB data cable" and select "Data Storage." Your computer screen will show an "Autoplay" window.
8. Double-click "Open Folder to View Files." The phone's memory card folder will open.
9. Double-click to open the "Themes" folder.
10. Drag and drop the theme from the desktop to the "Themes" folder.
11. Disconnect the USB cable after the theme transfers completely.
