Instructions

Finding What Model Motorola Phone You Have

1. Turn your Motorola cell phone off. This may prevent you from losing valuable contacts and other information contained on your cell phone during the process of locating the model number.

2. Take off the back panel where the battery of your Motorola cell phone is located. In some cases, the model number may be located on the battery of your Motorola phone. However, most of the time you will have to remove the battery to locate the model number.

3. Find the ID tag on your Motorola phone. This will be revealed once the battery has been removed from your phone. The ID tag is a small white square that clearly indicates the model and serial number of your Motorola cell phone.

4. Call the Motorola customer service department at 1-877-777-7520 or 1-800-331-6456 to find the model number of your phone if it isn't listed on the phone ID tag. The serial number located on the ID tag will allow the customer service representative to determine the model number on your Motorola phone.
