Get A Gps On Nokia 6120

You are here... somewhere.

The Nokia Maps 2.0 application, a free download for Nokia phones including the 6120 Classic, provides satellite navigation as well as city guides for local areas. Engaging the phone's Bluetooth allows the Maps app to track the phone's present location. Locations can be saved as "favorites" to allow immediate recall and mapping of the site. The application also provides functions for both walking and driving directions as well as 3D mapping.

Instructions

1. Download the Nokia Maps 2.0 application (see Resources for link).

2. Go to the "Menu" screen and select "Applications."

3. Select "My own" and "Landmarks."

4. Click on the "Maps" icon. The application will take a few seconds to begin.

5. Enable the phone's Bluetooth function via the on-screen prompt.

6. Wait for the map to load. Zooming out to a satellite view may help the map to load quicker.

7. Open the "Options" menu to select or enter the location you would like to map. Select "Show on map" to view the location.
