Lock Files On An N72 Mobile

Smart phones, such as the Nokia N72, are useful devices that can store important files, such as personal photographs, notes videos. If you do not want others to view these items, you should consider locking your files. This task can be achieved using software designed specifically for this purpose.

Instructions

1. Connect your N72 device to the computer using its USB data cable. Install Nokia PC Suite, a desktop managing application for Nokia hand-held devices. You will find this tool in the CD that came with your N72 mobile set.

2. Download and run a file-locking software, such as Phone Guard, Folder Lock or File Lock, on your computer. PC Suite will ask you if you want to install it on your N72 device. Click "Yes" and the installation will start.

3. Wait for the installation to complete, and then run the newly-installed application from your cell phone's "My Own" folder, located on your main menu.

4. Enter a password when asked and press "Allow" to grant the software permission to browse your files and directories.

5. Press "Options" and select "Add Files" to add the files you want to protect. Your files will now be locked and password protected.
