The Psb Alpha B1 Speaker System Vs Infinity Tss 1200

PSB and Infinity speakers provide excellent sound for different living situations.


PSB and Harman are manufacturers of audio hardware such as home theater systems. A PSB Alpha B1 system is a compact speaker unit for small spaces while the Harman Infinity TSS 1200 is more appropriate for a louder, more explosive sound experience.


Speakers


The PSB Alpha B1 model comprises of a single bookshelf speaker that contains a tweeter and a woofer. An Infinity TSS-1200 system has six different speakers, including a dedicated sub-woofer, a center channel speaker and four satellite speakers.


Performance


A PSB Alpha B1 has a frequency range between 65 and 21,000 Hz. The Infinity TSS-1200 has a range between 29 and 30,000 Hz. Alpha B1 speakers handle up to 90 watts of power while the TSS-1200 satellite and center channel speakers have a maximum power of 125 watts. TSS-1200 sub-woofers handle up to 250 watts and up to 500 watts at peak.


Dimensions


PSB Alpha B1 speakers are 11.88 inches tall, 9.75 inches in depth and 7.13 inches wide. An Infinity TSS-1200 center channel speaker measures 3.94 inches tall, 3 inches deep and 13.19 inches wide. TSS-1200 satellite speakers are 12.94 inches in height, 3 inches in depth and 3.94 inches wide. The subwoofer is 18.5 inches tall, 18.5 inches deep and 12.75 inches wide.
