Open A Nokia Sim Card

The SIM card can be removed from your Nokia phone.

The SIM card is effectively your cell phone's personality; it contains your phone number and your list of contacts as well as other information. That these cards can be transferred to a new phone, and in doing so retain your old numbers and contacts, is a useful perk. Nokia SIM cards are no different in that regard and a situation may arise that requires you to transfer the SIM from one phone to another. This makes it important to know open the case and access the card without damaging it.

Instructions

1. Open the back casing of your Nokia cell phone by sliding the backside of the phone downwards while gripping the rest of the phone. You will find it clips open very easily, giving you access to the battery and SIM card port.

2. Flick open the cage which holds the SIM card in place. On many Nokias you will find the SIM card is held in place with a small cage which can simply be opened like a small door.

3. Slide the SIM card out of the phone.
