Remove The Battery In My Nokia 2610

The Nokia 2610 cell phone uses a SIM card to activate the phone and hold personal information about the user. The SIM card is installed in the battery compartment of the Nokia 2610. If you want to switch the SIM card from the Nokia 2610 for use in another phone, you must first remove the battery from the phone. Using the proper method to remove the battery from the phone ensures you will not damage the phone, the battery or the SIM card.

Instructions

2. Remove the battery cover by pressing down on the battery cover release and sliding the cover down.

3. Lift the bottom end of the battery out of the battery compartment and pull the battery out of the phone.

4. Reinstall the battery by sliding the side of the battery with the contacts into the top end of the battery compartment, pressing down on the bottom end of the battery so it fits within the compartment, and replacing the battery cover by placing it on the back of the phone and sliding it into place.
