Install A Game On A Motorola Cell Phone

Play video games on your Motorola phone.

Most Motorola phones come with games installed on the phone before you even buy it. But many times these games are of low quality, and sometimes they're not even full games but rather demos. Certain websites allow you to download .jar or .jad (Java compatible games) for free.

Instructions

1. Go to mobilerated.com, mobileplayground.co.uk or free-mobile-games.mobilclub.org.

2. Choose your phone's make and model to bring up a list of video games. Click the "Download" button located next to the game you want to download, and save the file on your computer's desktop. Avoid .zip files, as they require more complicated installation processes, and they may not work on your mobile phone. Look for files that end with .jar or .jad instead.

3. Turn on your phone and connect it to your PC via the mini USB data cable.

4. Click "My Computer" from the "Start" menu. Click the USB/Motorola/Removable Device icon once to highlight it. Click the "Tools" button from the toolbar menu at the top, then click "Folder Options." Click the "View" tab and scroll down until you see the "Hidden Files and Folders" section. Click the "Show Hidden Files and Folders" option to make sure you will see all of your phone's folders.

5. Double-click the KJava folder in your Motorola removable device window. Click and drag any video games that you've downloaded from your computer's desktop and drop them into the KJava folder.

6. Double-click the .jar files to install them. After installation, remove your phone from the computer.
