The Nokia 5030 cell phone effectively makes calls, sends text messages and allows you to listen to music. However, it can sometimes lock like many cell phones can do, not allowing you to access any of your contacts, send messages or make calls. Unlocking these cellular phones often entails going to a cell phone technician to fiddle with it. However, you can order unlocking software to install on your Nokia 5030, which allows you to unlock your own cell phone.
Instructions
1. Download the free software program called NokiaFree unlock codes calculator online. Install this software on your computer.
2. Find the IMEI number on the Nokia 5030 cell phone. You can do this by pressing star, pound, zero, six, pound on the keyboard. Press the call or enter button.
3. Open the NokiaFree software you have just installed. Choose Nokia as the manufacturer. Choose the Nokia 5030 model number and fill in the IMEI code. Choose your country and then choose your cell phone provider. The rest of the options should be filled out for you automatically.
4. Click calculate. Now a series of codes will appear on the NokiaFree software. Try each one of these codes, and at least one will unlock the cell phone.
