Tracfone Wireless is a cell phone provider that specializes in prepaid wireless phones. If you have recently purchased a Nokia Tracfone, chances are everything is completely set up, paid for, and ready to go. However, if you've found yourself needing to change the time on your Tracfone, the good news is that doing so is a fairly straightforward process, and the best part is that you can change the time on your Tracfone in less than a minute.
Instructions
1. Open your Tracfone and press the "Menu" button, which is the circular button located in the middle of your phone's directional pad. Then choose "Settings" from the list of options in the drop-down menu.
2. Choose "Initial Setup" from the list of options in the "Settings" menu. Choose "Time and Date" and then "Auto Update." Verify that Auto Update is set to "On." If it isn't, use the directional pad to toggle the status to the "On" position.
3. Highlight "Auto Update" and then press the "Menu" button to choose it.
4. Follow the prompts on screen to verify that you would like to auto-update your phone. A dialogue box will then appear on screen informing you of when the auto-update is complete. Once it is, exit out of the "Auto Update" menu. The time will now be set on your Tracfone and will automatically change when you enter a new time zone or the time in your region changes.
