Sync A Blackberry With An Hp Computer

BlackBerry users can manage music files with Desktop Software.


A BlackBerry device can be synced with a Hewlett-Packard computer using BlackBerry Desktop Software. Desktop Software is a product designed by the makers of BlackBerry, Research in Motion. The easy-to-use program helps BlackBerry users sync the content on the device including contacts, music and pictures. BlackBerry Desktop Software can also be used to sync videos as well. HP computer users can get BlackBerry Desktop Software at no charge.


Instructions


1. Download and install BlackBerry Desktop Software for PC on the Hewlett-Packard computer. (See Resources.) Follow the installation wizard's prompts to correctly install the software.


2. Connect the BlackBerry to the computer using a USB cable. Connect the device to any available USB port.


3. Double-click the "BlackBerry Desktop Software" icon on the desktop. Wait for the program to recognize the device.


4. Select "Device Options" from the "Device" drop-down menu.


5. Check the boxes next to the content to synchronize, then click "OK."


6. Select "Sync All" from the "Device" drop-down menu and wait for the synchronizing to complete.


7. Disconnect the device from the HP computer and exit Desktop Software.
