Disassemble A W755 Phone

The Motorola W755 flip phone was available in the United States on the Verizon network before being discontinued. However, some cell phone users who purchased the W755 may still be using it. The handset features a camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a global positioning system. Disassembling the W755 provides access to the battery pack and memory card. Changing the memory card gives the phone additional picture, video and multimedia message storage space. Installing a new battery increases the time between charges if the battery is old.

Instructions

1. Pull the battery charger cord out from the side of the W755 and hold the "Power/End Call" button. The phone turns off.

2. Close the flip screen and turn the phone over. Press the battery cover release button toward the base of the phone and lift off the cover.

3. Pry up the side of the battery nearest the base of the phone with a fingernail and lift it out of the phone. The memory card is revealed.

4. Place a finger on top of the memory card and slide it to the right, out from its metal holder. Pick up the memory card and set it aside. Your Motorola W755 is now disassembled.
