Even though the Nokia E71 phone comes installed with the Symbian operating system, you still may use Windows programs on it. Keep your personal or business life organized by synchronizing Microsoft Outlook with your Nokia phone. Nokia PC Suite gives you the capability to synchronize calendars, appointments, emails and contacts between your phone and Outlook. If you do not have this software, download it from the Nokia website.
Instructions
1. Plug the USB data cable into your Nokia E71 phone. Insert the other end into your computer's available USB port.
2. Launch the Nokia PC Suite software. Click "Synchronize." Choose "Microsoft Outlook" from the drop-down list.
3. Click "Next." Choose which calendars, contacts and notes you want to sync with Outlook. Click "Next."
4. Click "Browse." Choose the files you want to sync with your Nokia E71. Click "Next." If you do not want to sync any files, do not click "Browse."
5. Set the data range for the calendars you want to synchronize. Click "Next."
6. Tick next to "Synchronize when I click finish." Click "Finish" and "Synchronize Now."
