Sign An Application For The Nokia 5610

The Nokia 5610 handset is a part of Nokia's Xpress Music series and runs on the S40 Operating System. With its support for .SIS file extensions, you can download and install games and themes via GPRS/EDGE data. However, the application has to be signed or else the phone will reject it. Fortunately you can sign applications yourself if they were developed by individuals or have an expired certificate.

Instructions

1. Access a .SIS application file-signing website on your computer.

2. Enter your details, such as "Email address" and the "IMEI" of your Nokia 5610 if requested on the website. Click on the "Browse" button and navigate to the .SIS application file you wish to sign.

3. Choose "Upload" or a comparable option to upload the .SIS file to the website. Wait for the file to be completely uploaded and signed.

4. Download the application file for the Nokia 5610 once the signing is completed by clicking on the "Download Signed File" or a comparable option and save it on your computer.

5. Transfer the signed .SIS application to your phone using the Nokia PC Suite software and the USB connector cable.
