Check Your Mobile Number

You can ask a friend with a cell phone to help you remember your phone number.

How many times have you been asked for your number and drawn a blank? You might know the numbers of your best friend, sister, partner and parents by rote, but, then again, you call them more than you call yourself. Luckily, if you have a willing friend on hand, it's relatively easy to figure out your number, no matter what model of phone you own.

Instructions

1. Delete your details. If your friend has stored your details in their mobile phone, they will probably have to remove you from their phone's address book. Otherwise, when you call them, your name might appear on their screen, not your number.

2. Call a friend. It works (sometimes!) on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," and it can work for you, in this situation. Call your friend's mobile number from your mobile, and, when their phone starts ringing, your number should appear on their screen. Keep the phone ringing long enough for them to make a note of the number, but hang up before the call goes through to voice mail so you're not charged for the call.

3. Store your number. Save your number in your mobile phone's address book so you always have a record of it on hand.
