Ring Tones To A Sanyo Scp8400 By Data Cable

A USB or data cable may be included with your phone's packaging.

Ringtones are used to replace the standard ringers that are loaded on phones such as the Sanyo SCP-8400. You can use a different ring tone to alert you of incoming calls, messages and alarms. Custom ring tones that are saved on your computer can be added to your SCP-8400 phone using a data cable. Transferring the tones with a data cable helps you to avoid incurring data charges for downloading a tone.

Instructions

1. Connect your Sanyo SCP-8400 to a computer using a data cable. The computer will locate and download the drivers for your phone. After the drivers are installed, you will receive notification in the lower-right corner of your screen.

2. Click "Start" and select "Computer" from the menu.

3. Double-click the Sanyo's icon in the "Computer" window. The phone's folder will open.

4. Locate and open the folder containing your ring tones.

5. Drag a ring tone from the folder to the Sanyo's open folder. Release the ring tone in the folder to add it to the phone. Continue to drag and release your ring tones. Disconnect the phone from the computer when finished.
