Remove Documents To Go

Documents to Go is an application that allows you to use and access your Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and other files from your hand-held device. Hand-held devices include the Palm OS, BlackBerry, iPhone, Android, webOS, Windows Mobile Standard, Windows Mobile Professional, Symbian UIQ and Symbian Series 80. You can transfer and update files between your desktop or laptop computer and your hand-held device easily with the Documents to Go program. If you need to upgrade the program or wish to use another program, Documents to Go can be quickly removed.

Instructions

1. Go to "Start," "Control Panel" and "Add/Remove Programs" on your desktop or laptop computer. For Vista users, go to "Start," "Control Panel," "Programs" and "Programs and Features."

2. Select "Documents to Go" and press "Remove." Click "Yes" to confirm your choice and begin the automatic removal wizard.

3. Download "dataviztech.prc." The link is located under "Uninstall Documents to Go from the hand-held" section.

4. Double-click the downloaded file to add it to the install tool. Hot-sync your hand-held to your computer. Depending on your device version, this could be a wireless connection, connecting a USB cable from the device to your computer, or inserting the device into a docking station that's already connected to your computer.

5. Open the newly installed DatavizTech program on your hand-held. Go to "Home" on the hand-held to open the program.

6. Use your finger or the stylus to tap the "Uninstall Documents to Go" button. Select "Yes" to uninstall the program from your hand-held.
