Unlock A Nokia N75 For Cingular

The Nokia N75 is one of the easiest cell phones to unlock, if you have the proper codes to unlock it. When the phone is locked, the space to enter the unlock code shows up on the display. All you have to do is punch in the right code. If you mess up three times, the phone will block the PIN entry and ask for a different key. If you don't know that key, you'll have to log in to your AT&T Wireless "My Services" account and get it.

Instructions

1. Press the upper-left "soft key" and then press the " * " key to unlock the key pad with the phone open.

2. Press the rewind button and then the fast forward button to unlock the key pad with the phone closed.

3. Enter the four- to eight-digit PIN code if the phone is locked on start-up. The space to enter the PIN code appears on the display and all you have to do is key in the code and the phone will be unlocked. If you enter the PIN code incorrectly three times, the code will be blocked, and then you'll have to enter the eight-digit PUK code and press "OK" before attempting to unlock the phone again. If you don't know your PUK code, continue to Step 4.

4. Log in to your AT&T Wireless "My Services" account.

5. Click on "My Phone/Device" and then click on "Unblock SIM Card." A PUK code will be displayed on the page, as well as instructions to enter the PUK code.

6. Enter the PUK code and then change your PIN immediately (enter it twice when prompted) so you don't have to go through the trouble of contacting AT&T again.
