Unlock Mobiles To Any Network

When you purchase a mobile phone, your cellular provider programs all service information onto a SIM card. These are small plastic cards that are usually located in the battery compartment of your cell phone. If you want to open up your phone so that it can be used with any account, you can enter an unlock code and change the SIM card. The websites that generate these codes charge you, but they provide the code right away.

Instructions

1. Log onto your Internet browser and navigate to a site that offers unlock codes for cellular phones (see Resources).

2. Enter the make and model of your particular cell phone into the appropriate text fields on screen.

3. Enter your email and payment information in the appropriate fields and confirm the purchase when prompted. The code will then be generated and sent to your email account.

4. Open the email to retrieve the code.

5. Enter the code in your phone as if your were dialing a number. The phone will then unlock. You can replace the SIM card for the phone with one from any service provider.
