Connect Your Phone With Outlook

Connect Your Phone With Outlook

Microsoft Outlook is a popular email client and information management software application that has been in production since the 1990s. The program lets you send and receive email, organize appointments and schedules, assign and receive tasks, and store the contact information of friends, family, and business associates. Outlook is also designed to let you connect and synchronize your phone with the information stored in the program.

Instructions

1. Check that you have Internet access incorporated into your mobile phone plan that permits unlimited web usage. If you do not have unlimited web usage, you will need to monitor your Internet and Outlook activity after starting to use Outlook on your phone.

2. Navigate to the Microsoft mobile website with your phone's web browser and download Microsoft Office Mobile on your phone.

3. Install the Microsoft Mobile Office program onto your phone by selecting the downloaded phone application. Restart your phone after the software installation is completed.

4. Connect your phone to the computer that has Outlook installed. After it is connected, open the Microsoft Outlook program by either clicking on its shortcut on your desktop or by accessing it directly from your "Start" menu. This will begin the connection process between Outlook on your computer and your phone. You will receive a notification on the computer screen when the synchronization with your phone is complete.
