Burn A Navteq Update Ag To One Dvd

It is possible to burn just about any form of data to a DVD.

Navteq AG is a GPS device that comes with packaged maps, helping you navigate just about anywhere in the world. However, as maps and roads change, you need to update your Navteq system. Do this via a free download. If the computer you use the Navteq on does not have access to the Internet, you must download the required information on a different computer, then burn the update to a single DVD.

Instructions

1. Open your Internet browser and navigate to the Navteq website.

2. Type in the area of the world or the address you want the updated maps for. Press "Search" and momentarily the file downloads directly to your computer system.

3. Insert the blank DVD and close out the AutoPlay window that appears on your screen. Launch Windows Media Player from the Start menu.

4. Click "Burn," then choose "Data DVD." Select the "X" button next to the burn library, then click the "Add File" option and select the downloaded Navteq download.

5. Click "Start Burn," and the Navteq update writes to the DVD.
