Connect A Mobile Bluetooth To A Pc

Bluetooth allows the Connection of two devices without cables.


As technology advances, we have fewer reasons to use cables to stay connected. For years, we have had wireless devices that still needed cables to connect to a computer. Now with the popularity of Bluetooth technology, these devices can be connected to your computer without a cable. It may seem like a daunting task, but it is actually easy.


Instructions


1. Make sure that your PC's Bluetooth is turned on. Either by attaching a Bluetooth adapter to the USB port, or if your computer has onboard Bluetooth, by making sure the Bluetooth light is on. Each computer may have different methods of turning it on.


2. Make sure that your mobile device is discoverable and that Bluetooth is on. This setting is usually found in either "Tools," "Settings" or its own Bluetooth setup icon. Make sure that Bluetooth is on, and select the option that allows the device to be discoverable by other devices.


3. Open the "Start" menu, type "bthprops.cpl" in the "Search" box or "Run" box and press Enter. This will bring up the Bluetooth connections window. This can also be found in the control panel under "Bluetooth Devices."


4. Select the "Add Wireless Device" or "Add" button.


5. When you see your mobile device show up on the computer, highlight it, and then next.


6. Your computer will now give you a passcode to type into the device. If it times out you can try again. Once you have typed it in, hit "Enter" or "OK" on your device. Your computer will now install the drivers it needs, and your device is now connected to your computer via Bluetooth.
