Restart A Nokia 6300

The Nokia 6300 is a mobile phone with easy-to-use controls. Like any phone, it can occasionally freeze up, which makes powering it off and on a little more difficult. If you need to restart the Nokia 6300, you can do so in a few simple steps.

Instructions

1. Press the black power button on the top of your Nokia 6300 and hold it down. If the phone is functioning correctly, this should shut it off in a few seconds. If this fails, move to the next step.

2. Check the phone to see if the screen has frozen and you cannot navigate around it. If the device is frozen, proceed to the next step.

3. Slide the panel away from the back of the phone by pushing down and forward. You will see the battery in its compartment. Remove the battery by sliding your nail under one end of it, or use a small flat screwdriver to ease it out.

4. Wait for a few seconds and then replace the battery and the backing plate. The device might boot up automatically. If it does not, press down the power button on the top just once and this should switch it back on.
