Reset Ical

You can sync your iCal calendar with your Google account.

ICal is the built-in calendar application for Mac OS X. This calendar lets you add a variety of different events, color-code various different calendar categories and sync your calendar across other apple devices along with some online calendar services. If you want to transfer your computer to another user, or if you simply want to start fresh, you should reset the calendar application to its original state. The best way to accomplish this is to remove all of your iCal calendars and accounts.

Instructions

1. Open iCal, found in your applications folder.

2. Click on a calendar listed in the left sidebar.

3. Choose "Edit" from the Mac OS X menu bar and select the "Delete" option to delete the calendar and all of the events listed within that calendar. Follow this same process to delete all the other calendars in the list.

4. Choose "iCal" from the Mac OSX menu bar and select the "Preferences..." option.

5. Switch to the "Accounts" tab in the preferences window.

6. Select an account and click the minus button below the accounts list to delete it. Follow the same process to delete all accounts. iCal data should now be reset.
