Get Rid Of The Voicemail Symbol On My Lg Xenon Cell Phone

The status bar on the top of the LG Xenon touchscreen cellphone has several symbols that show the status of your phone, such as the remaining battery life, or alerts you to phone events, such as a new voicemail. The new voicemail icon is a cassette tape. You can remove the voicemail icon from the status bar on your LG Xenon by listening to all of your new voicemails.

Instructions

1. Touch the blue "Dialing" icon on the LG Xenon screen to open the keypad and touch and hold the "1" to connect to your voicemail. You can also access your voicemail by touching the status bar at the top of the screen and then touching the voicemail icon, which is an envelope with a cassette tape in front of it.

2. Press "1" on the on screen keypad to start listening to your messages.

3. Push "7" to delete or "9" to save the message when it is finished. The next message will start after you deleted or saved the current message.

4. Repeat Step 3 for each new message in your voicemail.

5. Press the End/Power button on the front of the LG Xenon, which has a red phone handset on it, to disconnect from your voicemail when you have listened to all of your new messages. The voicemail icon will disappear when you disconnect from voicemail.
