Download Music To A Verizon Cell Phone And Mp3 Player

Downloading songs from a computer to a Verizon cell phone and MP3 player is pretty simple. It's just like downloading songs to any other cell phone or MP3 player. Because it is so easy, it's also easy to overload your phone with music files. Try not to do this because it will slow down the speed at which your phone functions. If you plan to put a lot of songs onto your Verizon device, you should consider buying some memory cards as well.

Instructions

Downloading Music to a Verizon Cell Phone and MP3 Player

1. Insert the Music Essentials CD into your computer. You can install everything on the CD now if you'd like, but make sure you install the universal serial bus (USB) cable drivers. These will allow your computer to detect your phone when it's connected to the computer.

2. Connect your phone to your computer through the USB port. Once your installation is complete, your computer will recognize the new hardware.

3. Open "My Computer" and navigate to your phone. It should be located under "Devices With Removable Storage."

4. Open up your cell phone folder.

5. Open the folder that contains your music files.

6. Click on the music file you want to download to your phone and drag it into your phone's folder. You can create additional folders within your phone to organize your music easier.
