Send Tmobile Mms And Text Settings In The Uk

MMS is an acronym for Multimedia Messaging Service, and refers to messages that contain more than simply text, such as a video or a picture. Sending an MMS in the UK may vary from other regions, as some of the phone networks are unique to Britain or Europe. With T-Mobile, MMS can be used to send and receive multimedia content via email, using the WAP function of the phone. If you haven't received a picture message before on your T-Mobile phone, then you must send one to activate the photo reader. Alternatively, T-Mobile can text the settings to your phone.

Instructions

1. Send an MMS to your own phone to activate the multimedia reading services. Alternatively, you can send an MMS to a friend who can already read multimedia messages. This will allow T-Mobile to send you a "Welcome" picture message to your phone.

2. Log on to the T-Mobile website help and support section, if you do not receive a welcome message. This means that your phone does not have the correct settings for MMS messaging. Click on the "Phone support" link, and then "Settings and updates."

3. Insert your T-Mobile phone number into the box given and click "continue." This will begin the process of having the required MMS settings texted to your phone.

4. Follow the instructions on the screen, and T-Mobile will send you through the correct settings for free. Once these have been sent, follow the set up instructions on your phone. Once you have done this, attempt to send an MMS message, either to yourself or to a friend and the "Welcome" message should appear. You can now send MMS messages.
